For close to a decade, Mick’s been weaving tales into short and feature-length films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos. While simultaneously growing his storytelling skills to create impactful creative campaigns for clients in the charity, corporate, and government sectors.

After graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts, Mick embarked on a wild journey co-creating fear+love theatre company, as well as, Australia's first one-shot feature film, "Watch the Sunset" (currently streaming on Stan). Before going back to study filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, where he won Uber's national creators competition and dropped the viral mic with 'You're Wonderful,' an impactful anti-bullying hit.
Mick then found himself as head creative producer at GoodChat TV. There, he helped develop over 100 video campaigns, turning ideas into visual poetry.

While in the director's chair, Mick has set his mark across lifestyle, documentary, and narrative videos. With his diverse clientele including QANTAS, Climate Council, KU, ABC, Destination NSW, Menulog, Reach Out, SBS, Sydney Opera House, Uber, Department of Education/Health/Tourism/Premier and more.

In 2022, Mick took the helm in producing and directing the FYI Film Festival, spotlighting the narratives of 20 young storytellers in regional Victoria. Against the backdrop of captivating landscapes, Mick captured the unique talent of these budding storytellers. And in 2023, Mick joined the directing roster at Helium Films.

Mick's passion for storytelling is palpable, and his talent for coaxing authentic performances from subjects creates a distinctive and enduring connection between his work and its audience.

Inspired by innovative creators across all mediums, Mick is on a mission to bring innovative, compassionate, and lasting stories to both the Australian and international film industry.
